I didn't notice a difference in the throttle pull or smoothness.... no need to adjust the cables after removing the solenoid... it dose not effect the normal throttle operation

p.s. sorry for the late response...

By the way more on topic I love the high bars!!! bike is much much more fun to ride!! just wish it was easier to swap back and forth so I could put the clubmans on for track days... If I ever get around to getting the gear I need for a track day.

Installed the bars and denoided- LOVE thenew riding position- Hey I can turn my head!
I hear ya extreme, the clubs would be better at the track.
The only drawback to the bars IMO is the wind. But that aint no biggie.

Installed the high bars and like them. personally, one more inch would have been perfect. I put the 1 inch lower pegs on and i hear they are making two inch lower pegs.

oh-forgot to mention- my wires to the front brake switch are definitely too short. At full right, one of the connectors pulls off. I freed it up as much as possible, but its just too short. I'm gonna whip up some extenders in a few minutes.

Just mounted the tall bars and I love them.
Had a bit of a problem getting the throttle to return in the extreme left hand position but otherwise no problem

Yes, I have the same problem. What you need to do is, unhook the throttle cables from the throttle - striaght the throttle cables - make sure they not twisted - then re-route it without too many bends. That should do it. Good luck.:D

    Hi.

I think som of you have been ripped off by your dealer. I just signed the papers for my 1125CR and am getting the higher bars fitted by the dealer.
Here in Norway the 1125CR comes with the higher bars as an accessory when you buy the bike. The dealer does not pay for the higher bars as they come with the bike. This is also mentioned in a test a norwegian MC-magazine had of the 1125CR...
