Anybody know the difference between the two when it comes to mpg?
I never heard of a recall on the '03 final drive. what part was it exactly? the only one I knew was the kickstand.
I think MPG is about the same, its more about how you ride these bikes than anything else.
I can get as much as 65 with my 9 but as low as 32 if I push it hard.
i would love to trade my 9 for a 12 then throw a turbo on it
They recalled the belt. Maybe both sprockets too. Because the belt was weak that year. Changed the set up in '04. Firebolt projectors recalled too...

I always get 50mph (almost all the time :D:p ) on my 12. It has K&N filter, factory Race pipe, and ECM.

There was no recall on 03 belts. Some were replaced by the factory under warranty but they did not have a recall.
