4000 rpm in any gear or just at a certain speed?
What RPMs are we talking when the vibrations hit?
Look closely at the exhaust hangers mainly the front and the front insulator check the bolts going into the front head
Ok thanks, lost the front exhaust clamp at a track day on the 27th, but it was happeneing before then and its getting worse....I'll have a look at the front hanger and bracketry> checked all of the header bolts, front two were a little lose but the rear were fine...it happens at 4000rpm in every gear, really bad at 4000, nothing below 4 then it sort of tales off....
where is the rear isolator bolt? wheels seem ok, its definately engine related....kind of a really nasty high frequency buzz through the pegs.....
have checked front exhaust bracket hanger bolt, tight as.....rear bolts tight as well, front isolator? the engine stabalising rod at the front is tight, the one that goes from the engine to the front subframe.....
anyone got any other idea,s?????
recheck any mods done to it; go from there. elevate the rear end, run it thru the gears,,,
