I only have about 400 mi on by 2010 xb12ss and I just started to have the same problem. I have been combing over my bike, but I havent taken anything off yet. The chin spoiler is my next stop.
BTW nothing happened to the bike. was out for a nice ride, and the bike was fine. Stopped at the gas station just before my house to fill up, and a mile down the road I noticed the vibration once I got get on the throttle.

I don't know if i am paranoid or not but i did a search on vibration and came upon this thread. Since changing my tyres i have noticed a vibration around 1500 rpm's that literally could mix paint.I am not sure if its always been there ie. Buell v twin trait or if its developed from something i removed/replaced.My bike is an 09 Xb12ss and am wondering if others have this same balance irregularity at around 1500 rpms. I dont know now if i am concentrating on this vibration and in my mind making it worse.It is present at this rpm and then fades. It shakes when dropping down from higher revs then resumes the "normal" shake at idle (1000 rpm).It does it while riding and also when stationary so is engine related.Any help is greatly appreciated.cheers
i have mild vibration around 300-3500 rpm, then it gets completely smooth at 4000, i call it the "sweet spot" but it comes back a bit after, i dont know if its the motor, normal or otherwise, or a balance issue. i just try to stay close to 4k and thats it. anybody else similar?

I have an 09 xb12xcg and while riding the bolt that holds the front exhaust bracket to the engine fell out an i thought it was going to shake to pieces. just my 2 cents.

I know this this is a dead thread, but i figure no need for a new one. Noticed @ about 90 in fifth gear headin down the interstate(nice smooth new black top, which i assume is why i can feel it, no other road vibe) i can feel a weird vibration through the pegs that kinda comes on and off sorta like a truck with offroad tires @ high speeds. it's not audible, pretty minor even. everything appears tight. Ne one else ever feel this?
