The guy told me it comes with certificates that European's are required to have when they modify their rides per their DOT. I'm sure a good part of the cost is this.. also $20 of it is for shipping.
I know that this is an older post but hopefully one of you is still following it.
Did any of you end up with one of these units from Mizu?
Is it machined out of aluminum or steel?
Can you supply me with accurate dimensions. ( I can tear my coil over off and take my own measurements but would like to just be able to machine it first and not have to have down time on the bike ) I am a machinist and would like to make one for myself. I don't feel it necessary to pay $200 for a certificate that I don't need and something that I can machine for the price of the materials itself.
