Hi I just wondering my fan on 2008 Uly start running only when I turn engine off. It is cold in UK now so I did not have a chance to see if it will run in traffic, only got my bike 2 weeks ago. Should it start fan when engine running and it hot I am not moving (traffic), or only when I turn engine off?:)

Is your fan runs, when hot stationary in traffic?
My fan runs in traffic all the time while riding. Even comes on at stop lighs right after getting off the highway. Perfectly normal.
It'll run anyte the motor thinks it's too hot?!??!
Dont worrie, it sounds like it is running normal.
My fan runs even while i`m riding sometimes but it is hot here +30deg celcius dealers says it is ok no problem.

It's 80 here now in the winter time and my fan comes on when I shut it off the motor and also when in traffic.Enjoy the ride!!!
A right side air scope will cut down on the amount of time it runs. You can get a factory one or I believe Leofox sells an after market one. I got the factory one and it helps alot.
