RFQ: design-build a pair of "off-set blocks" to fit XB-R handlebars, controls & upper triple clamp.
    Proposed description includes:
A joined shaft & socket that off-set each handlebar 1.5-in +/- (mostly up).
Shaft with internal threads replaces stock handlebar in triple clamp's socket.
Billet material joins socket with clamp in single stout component (handlebars fail, not off-set clamp).
Socket mimics triple clamp's socket: receives stock handlebars & controls (longer clutch, throttle cables, what about brake line & wiring?).

Put me down as 'wants' a nice rear spray deflector kit, too.

strmvt, wed totally tackle that...i wanna be straight up with you on a couple things - id wanna get ahold of micron to find about what alloy of stainless it is...and it would be a little time consuming, makin sure it mirrors the other pipe and doin it right so it doesnt look like its been touched...that being said it wouldnt exactly be the cheapest job ever. if you can understand where im comin from and would be interested let us know. thanks

I'd be very interested in some sort of detachable rear fender as well...since doing the tail chop I can't stand the small rocks and crap that hit me in the back of the head at low speed, or the water down my back when it's wet out...

Can you make this plate mount? I can send you 2 basic designs of how I think it would clamp! If you think you can do it let me know the price and we'll go from there!

I had a friend of mine that had a gsxr 750 with one like the second picture and his came loose and smacked another guy in the head with is license plate on the interstate. It was a scary site but luckily the guy that got hit in the head by it was wearing his helmet.

Ok guys I'm going to work on getting this fender design going as well the license plate design. If anybody comes up with something else just let me know. And if anybody is serious about some of the stuff they posted such as fixing the exhaust, handle bar risers and so on let me know for sure. I dont mean to be an ass but I dont want to put the time into something unless your for sure you want it.

Thanks again guys. Really appreciate it.
