hmm Ive been up to 140+ on my 09 xb12Scg... no mods what so ever.

Both my bike and BuellChicks are '03 xb9's and both top out at 135mph. Plenty of straight aways in MI. Looking down IMO isnt that hard at those speeds since you are most likly in a hard tuck any way and your face is basically resting on the speedo.

Also on my bike the other day I could feel my bike wanting more at 135 but just doesnt have the gearing to go any faster.
