I've read a couple threads on this and for some reason have not figured it out yet, maybe it's just me.. Ive read this thread transfer and have not figured it out!! My stock is 310 firmware and race is 213 firmware (i think) If I have to a manual input the data , how EXACTLY do I do this? or is there another simplified way? Willing to throw some extra cash via phone support!

Simplest method is to find a race eeprom in your config.

Short of that, open the race eeprom, and copy down fuel and timing map values. Then open your bike's eeprom, and input those fuel and timing map values and burn changes to your ECM.

Pretty straightforward. No need to pay cash. If that doesn't work for you, PM me and I can give you my phone or e-mail to walk you through it.

For some reason I though that I had to input the values into ecmspy?? What your saying, for clarification is to input the values in txt format in notebook, simple copy and paste? sorry for being so dense! I think im just petrified to F something up..

NOMADIC, let's take this conversation to e-mail/phone. It'll be easier for me to explain at length what you need to do.

Ok.. Problems and a solution, just want to check my work here.

    1. Installed Race ECM (GB231)
    2. Loaded EEPROM From Race ECM
    3. Saved Race EEPROM to Disk
    4. Installed Stock ECM (IB310)
    5. Loaded Race EEPROM
    6. Burned Race EEPROM to Stock ECM

Once this was done the fan came on whenever the bike was turned off, even when key was removed. A TPS reset was useless and it always said I was at 100% throttle.

    My solution.

    1. Reloaded Stock ECM EEPROM to Stock ECM
    2. Loaded Race ECM Fuel Maps to Stock ECM
    3. Started and worked great.

First of all, what the hell happened with the EEPROM copy, why didn't it work?

Second, does my solution still simulate the Race ECM? In addition to the fuel maps I made the appropriate adjustments to the Exhaust Servo and the White Cable. Does anything else need to be changed or should I be good?

    Thanks for the help
    Is this normal?

No, that's not normal. TPS should vary with throttle, and if ONLY the maps were flashed, then the fan program should not have changed (unless the fuel and timing maps resulted in such huge temperature changes in the cylinders that the stock fan program behaved differently).

If it's not too much trouble, post up your correspondence as you go. In the future, there's no doubt this will come up again and it'd be handy if it was documented and we could refer them to this Thread.

So my solution to the problem was as follows:

    I found a re-mapped version from a local Chicago Bueller of 310 version :D

Anyone wants a copy or trade let me know.
I have not ran the bike with this map so don't know the results.
