    should i do this to my 03' xb9s, will i notice a difference in power or fuel economy, or is it a waste of time. bike has factory race kit with ecm, k&n, and exhaust. and 12k miles

    There are a ton of threads on this topic, but everyone will agree that it's worth it.

    you'll notice low RPM performance. it'll cure that low end stutter

    im reading other threads and havent seen any on the xb9 only 12s anyone with a 9 do this and like it

    All the mod can do is help - that's it. It keeps your intake from sucking in air mixed with oily gas/spray. After the mod, you're sucking clean air only - regardless of whether you notice the improvement, it is one.

    I did it on my 9...I would highly suggest it.

    ok. but,? what about days like yesterday where i got cought in the rain and was soaked... by time i got home. would be really bad on breather wouldn't it

    No It will be fine. Go look at the DIY section on how to do the reroute. If you look at my picture on there you will notice how far under mine is tucked in.
