Thread: mizu lowering kit

I have a XB9SX and I am considering this lowering kit from SoloBuell.com

because I could use an inch lowering and fitting Scg susspension is too expensive.
What I worry about is how the handling will be affected? I was told that lowering only the back-end without front-end makes the handling much worse and that I should not do it. Does anybody has experience with this kit? Thanks guys.

Why don't you put the low seat on it would only cost you 90 and it lowers the seat hight around an inch without affecting the suspension

because it is hard like stone.
    I have Select gel seat.

Only lowering the back end would increase the rake, making steering slower....

Trading someone for the rear shock would be cheaper and IMO easier, unless you live in the Europe.

I would recommend slipping the forks the same amount you lower the rear to keep from raking it out like wiz said.
