Looks like the new model swing arm to me, non Ss. Maybe they cut that part of the swing arm out.

Looks like a job for an angle grinder for swingarm clearance.
That guy ^^^^^^ should buy a Hyabusa
I just recently purchased a taylormade 240 kit. With the spacers behind my free spirits belt tensioner/idler pulley I only have about a mm of space to screw the nuts on. Any ideas how to get ahold of some longer studs.
Napa auto parts or Ace/True Value will have hardened studs.
Please post pictures.
I designed spacers for Free Spirit idler to offset the idler sprocket relatively the idler base bracket. Read my posts in this thread and see the pictures. If you have same Free Spirit idler as mine I can share parts drawings and CAD models for the spacers to modify the Free Spirit idler and all necessary fasteners to replace the original ones from the idler.
If your wheel is shifted you probably have old style swingarm or new style long swingarm, because of new style short swingarm does not allow to shift wheel 240 aside.
If the taylormade wheel is shifted aside for belt clearance and you are planning to use belt you probably can modify the stock belt tensioner. See this thread for details https://www.buellxb.com/forum/showth...Tire-Chain-Rub
This is modified stock idler bracket with sprocket, you can modify your stock idler bracket same way. You need to perform some cutting and welding work.
