Looking for X1 dash

Buellxb Forum

Uh, sure. Parts availability is slim for a 21 year old bike whose brand was discontinued 12 years ago. The local dealers don’t even have any reference manuals anymore. I would know this because I bought them.

Those who do have it want nearly $300 for a piece of plastic. I’ll pass! 🤣 That’s why I despise stealerships.

So, anybody got a used one hanging around? Even a crappy one is fine, as long as it’s structurally sound.

Well, at least that one isn’t $300! However, I am looking for a used piece that is suitable for modifying that I won’t feel guilty about, as parts for these are dwindling.

Allow me to reiterate;

I am looking for a stock dash panel suitable for modifying. My dash panel is in perfect shape and had been removed. I want one I can slice and dice to provide a structural support for the poorly made, flimsy, but attractive aftermarket carbon fiber dash that is too thin a material to support the weight of the instruments, and allows the gauges to twist and turn while riding. I don’t want one in great shape that someone who needs one could use on a restoration. I don’t wish to waste good parts.

Here is a used one.

I think I may have a new one in a box in my garage somewhere. I was going to toss it with some other parts no one wants.

If you don’t mind taking a look for it, let me know a price and what else you have.

Cooter led me the a new one for $100. I’m hoping to not spend that much, but would prefer to give it to a person than a company if possible.

I also led you to a new one for the same price you can order from your Harley dealer.

You didn't include a link 34:19:down: How dare you ask someone to press more than one single button to get the answer

...that I got by typing "Buell X-1 dash" into Google.
